Hampton Roads Ecumenical Council of Bishops

Established in 2011, the Hampton Roads Ecumenical Council of Bishops (HRECB) exists to enrich, to enhance, and to encourage bishops.  It is a unified consortium of bishops throughout the mid-Atlantic region for the following purposes:

1) a platform for continued education;
2) a unified voice in addressing needs in the community;
3) and an educational resource a) for equipping and supporting pastors and b) for growing congregations.

Ministry in the twenty-first century requires that churches engage innovative approaches and utilize multiple modes of technology to minister effectively. Through education and philanthropy the HRECB forms a unified front to address these and other ministry needs to the glory of God.
